Highly desirable in the collecting world is the legendary SS honor ring. This original is a rarely encountered late type.
Authorized by Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler and awarded to SS member named Rässler on 21.December.1944
Evident is the two piece construction as evidenced by the seam visible behind the Totenkopf.
This ring was brought home as a war souvenir by a female who had served in the Red Cross. 
There is honest wear to the runic symbols around the ring.
The size of this ring is considered small/medium.
All the markings around the interior of the ring are crisp and present.
